Return from Holiday's

Post by The Lazy Rosarian on 9th October 2010, 07:36

Hello to all the new members that have joined since I went on holiday's.
I have posted on some of the other threads about roses that I had been given on my travels.
In total 61 purchased from Mistydowns.
5 or seven from Damian, thanks Damo
5 or six from Ozrosarian, thanks Oz
And the ones that our Field Days purchased for the rose pruning demo's.
Off to pot most up and plant some straight to the garden.

Losing weight by getting exercise planting rose bushes ? Laughing

My MIL was telling me only recently about the nasty wasps that could make people abandon picnics and the like when they moved in when they still lived in England..
Don't the European wasps over east have a similar fearsome reputation ? I know the Ag. Dep. in W.A is constantly on the look out to prevent colonies becoming established here .

They are everywhere here... not as many as there was as my chooks have decimated their population. That, and I don't have all the piles of wood around that the last guy had everywhere.
