Australian Gardening Zones Map
This image was produced by Mr Murray Fagg of the Australian National Botanic Gardens and in the past I had usually linked directly to it on Murray's advice. It appears the link has since disappeared so now I am hosting it myself. I'll keep it here as a sticky for people to check whenever they need to.

Re: Australian Gardening Zones Map
Thanks Simon. I couldn't work out why some nurserys were saying Zone 4 or less for tea roses when other say zone 9-10.

Re: Australian Gardening Zones Map
Thanks Simon. This explains a lot. When I Google certain rose varieties I invariably end up on some US based site and I could never work out what zone applied to me.

Ok Simon and others, just out of interest, just a little fib here. As some on the forum know I live at Mudgee NSW. We are clasified as Central Tablelands. i think we are border line between that and Central West Slopes. Any thoughts. If I could overlay a map with Mudgee on it, I think we are would be on the line. I ight be a zone 8 leading to a 9. what do we think, David.

Re: Australian Gardening Zones Map
Interesting. We are in zone 4 and I just noticed that we are in the same zone as Perth and Adelaide. Same as Mt Isa actually and Katerine and probably Marble Bar (the hotest place in Oz)
