OMG, stunning photos Damo. I'm just catching up on all this glory! I could almost smell Immortal Juno (which died on me LOL)

I lived in Goulburn when i was in primary school. Went to Bourke St Public school. My mum was born in Bourke St. (not in that order!) In those days they had a Lilac Time festival. We used to sing songs about lilacs, march down the main st for the festival etc Everything was purple! Smart change to roses! Now I'll have to go back to see them for sure. I still love Goulburn and have a few distant rellies there and quite a few in the cemetery.

I meant to say Damon, yes I am very safe now.
But I got distracted by my Kelpies, which I am getting back into doing alot with them. I have started sheepdog trialling again, also got back into studying Kelpie bloodlines.
That's funny, we nearly all seemed to have probably walked over the same ground, even if it was just on a pathway in Goulburn, and even if it was decades apart.

G'day Dave. I only just saw yours & Karens posts...sorry!

The lilacs are few & far between now in good old Goulburn but lots of yards have a rose or 2. I agree that it was a smart change from lilacs to roses of course! LOL

When next you are down this way & if you have time (and actually want to) I would like to meet you for lunch or a stroll around the rose gardens (or even both!). Smile

Karen! Wave I hope you are having fun with your kelpies!

Hey, I would love to do that Damo! I could catch the train from Central. We can tweak the date to catch them at their best. Most of my teaching is over by November so can be flexible.

Awesome Dave! I look forward to it...from memory the roses in Goulburn are nice late November to mid December so it should work out well! Very Happy
