rose breeding in the ice age

Post by Bemo on 1st February 2010, 4:34 am

Father Frost is still present....
ice age

.......and the season 2010 starts great. One batch of 'Bonica' seeds, which I had saved out of the garage because of strong frost...the peat plugs were hard as stone.., has germinated nearly completely.

today 2 of the only 3 seeds I got from 'Rose de Resht' x 'Sympathy' came up:

'Rose de Resht' x 'Sympathie'

must celebrate this 'Merry'

cheers
Bernhard

Great Bernhard, there is an old saying which came from a store we had here a long time gone by. " while I live, I will grow. I think that is how it went, but I think it is appropriate for you at your time of year.
