roses in the fall
the flowers are sparsely this autumn on the most of my roses, but some are going well or a little:
'Ghislaine de Feligonde':

'Winchster Cathedral'

not yet named ('Leonardo da Vinci' x 'Sorbet')

'Honky Tonk Woman' (shows good improvement
)

not yet named ( seedling of 'Sympathy' )

'Leonardo da Vinci':

nice weekend

Mine where pathetic and leaf drop u heard of before and yucky blooms, hence my earlier than usual pruning
I find the 2nd last interesting, wonder if it will change as it ages

Re: roses in the fall
Autumn/Early winter in SE Qld usually has fantastic weather and so far this year it has been lovely.
Our roses love the weather and have responded to it. The bugs seemed to have cleared out now it has gotten colder and the flowers get to open up fully.
I've been doing plenty of cuttings (roses and other plants) and cleaning up and the usual modifying garden beds.
Its a fun time.
