Spring roses...again

Post by Dave on 16th September 2009, 9:04 pm

Here's Laevigata again, in the background this time, with Malus floribunda in the foreground and the odd azalea.

What a pretty picture Dave! The blossom and the rose echo each other beautifully.
Your Azalea doesn't look odd to me .......................

Beautiful garden setting too Dave. Do you put your garden in the Open Garden Scheme? It looks well established.
I have Laevigata too only mine is under knee height. How long do i have to wait before it is as spectacular as yours?

Dee... I use to live near Dave... in that climate my old laevigata grew to those proportions in only 2 years. It is a monster! Down here, and in the shade like you have your little one I would expect growth to be considerably slower.

No Open Garden, Billndee. It's all a bit on the wild side! We don't have a front fence or gate (yet) so it's open to the road, so hope people can take a look as they go by. I hope it brightens their day!
Can't wait to see some pics of everyone's gardens as spring rolls along.
