Love the colours in that one, Val. You can never have too many iris, or too many roses. Razz

Hey Val... I was thinking the one on the left doens't look much like a Pacific Coast Iris! It looks like a beardie... there is a median beardie called 'Making Eyes' that looksidentical to this:

I know I answered this post earlier!! Must have forgotten to hit the "Send" button.
Yes Simon, you're right! I got this one from the GA expo, and it wasn't labelled as Pacific Coast Iris, I just assumed it was! It was called "Dark Eyes" by the seller. It's slightly bigger than the other PCIs too. Guess I'll have to re-house it!
Thanks,
Val

Lovely Val... 'Pond Lily' is a really lovely colour combination!

Out here today:

'Coral Point'... Still flowering but flowers seem less vividly coloured than in the first photos.

'Pebbles Fresh'

I'm going to pollinate these two together to see what happens.

Lovely, Simon. Pebbles fresh is such a vibrant colour. It will be interesting to see the results of the cross pollination.

The Iris Show is on this Sunday at Mount Waverley community centre. Vic. 11am - 4pm. A trading table with really cheap irises for sale, auctions every half hour and refreshments available.

Val... this blue one is a real strong grower. I only bought this one last year as a small, single branched rhizome, and in 12 months it has produced multiple branches and covers an area 50cm square and has about 4 strong flower stalks. Make sure you leave some room in your garden for this one as I'll be able to send you a piece soon Thumbsup
