"Oranges 'n' Lemons"

Post by Simon on 24th August 2009, 10:32 pm

I've heard people rave about this rose in terms of disease resistance and floriferousness. Does anyone here have first hand experience with it? It's got similar breeding to another Sam McGredy striped rose I have called 'Papageno' that is quite a good clean performer and has been pretty much evergreen here this winter.

Thanks TheE... maybe you could do a running photo-record of it for us... I'd be interested to see what it looks like when it heats up a little Wink

Yes Abbi, I just love the colours of all the new growth, I have spotted the odd aphid but been lucky enough to have a few heavy showers of rain which got rid of most of them, I only spray if I really have too Creepy

I've got a non-standard in a big pot. Went OK for me last year, but I'll keep track of it for you too.
