Forum Changes

Post by Simon on 17th July 2009, 9:42 pm

Been talking with David a bit lately and have decided to change the forum viewing permissions so that everyone can view the forum whether they are logged in members, or not (except the Junior Rosarians forum which I how to try and develop more in the future). Only members can post but anyone can view all the content. I really like the idea from Alee and Carole (forum members) to try and encourage rose enthusiasts from other countries to contribute to discussions and this is one way we think we might be able to achieve this.

This does raise some issues as far as forum etiquette goes. It means that now things will be in the public eye more and so careful attention to what is said and how it is said will need to be given.

So if you see a lot of new people around make them feel welcome and say hello Smile
