Without going into it yes. Computer problem for them with us. I would email Simon and chase them up, the plants we bought are of good quality and if you "get" yours I hope they are as good.

Everytime I go to town I call in at the postoffice to enquire if there is a box of roses for me. Otherwise I could get home after the postman has been with a card telling me I have a parcel to pick up.
I put my orders in late. Luckily we have had some rain, just need the roses to plant.
That's very funny Carole, especially after the episode of the lazy postman.

LOL!! I don't think he is - otherwise he'd be walking round my roses every time he delivered some thing!

What does that mean David? Does that mean you have ordered them but they haven't looked at the order yet? I've ordered quite a few from them this year and haven't received them yet either.

I missed this Simon a bit, No they had not looked at it, something called a "computer crash". I WOULD ring as emails seem to take days to answer, sorry to give bad news.

Yes, I got a phone call form them quite late one night telling me that they had accidentally found all my emails in their junk mail folder and that their email filter was filtering out legit. emails so they weren't seeing them. They apologised for this but I have not received replies to my current email (I wanted to add a rose to my order) so I don't know whether it has been addressed or not.

Is this Mistydowns we are talking about? Because I am waiting on an order from them. I have emailed Mistydowns on the strength of this thread but do you think I should phone them now?

But I have also heared of someone waiting and waiting for their Treloar order.

I scored a Duchess de Brabant today because I felt like doing something wild and dangerous, like going to Mitre 10 to look at their bagged roses. I am very pleased to have her because she is my first tea rose. And that is her picture on the front cover of the Tea Rose book! I am hanging onto the book until my rose order arrives but that is taking a very long while. Are you waiting for your book David and CArole? I can send it back immediately if you are.

I'm STILL waiting on two orders from Treloars (my glasshouse roses and a few minis), and my order from Mistydowns. I have received my orders from Ladybird Roses, Reliable Roses, and one order from Treloars.

I have this Tea too Dee... It's been very slow to kick off.

I picked up Frank Benadella mini called 'New Hampshire' and a Tom Carruth rose called Route 66 yesterday too... looking forward to seeing how that one pans out in the hybridising stakes.

Val, have your roses arrived from Misty yet, If they have not, as your in their state any chance of ringing them for explanation on behalf of the members of this forum, I know my problem, but I also know Simon sent his early to beat the rush and is still waiting amongst others, I hope this does not put you on the spot, Regards David.

hmm im still waiting to hear from Mistydowns too. I was invoiced for a rose I didnt order and emailed her to say please take it out of my order and havent heard anything since. I do know thru work that a lot of the companies are very late sending orders this year because of the late season and then heavy rain. We only received an order Tuesday and are still waiting from our last lot from Treloars.

David, I have just had my confirmation sent from Mistydowns, only because I have put it in late. Judy said that they would come in the middle of August.

It's not just Mistydowns... I think they are all very busy this year after the dryish spell the last few years... I'll just have to be more patient.

I just had an email from Treloars saying that due to factors beyond their control there are delays in their despatch process. Well it's nice of them to do this, and I will wait more patiently now Smile

Rang Treloars. They are having problems and well behind with sending out orders. They didn't say what the problem was, but I should have mine in "a couple of weeks"...thats about 6 weeks after they were due to arrive.
