Grafting Tool

Post by LouiseJB on 6th February 2016, 13:03

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Just a quick question, has anybody used a grafting tool that cuts the bud from both the understock and bud rose and thus have perfect fit for grafting? and if so, was it successful?

Thanks in Advance,
Louise.

This is the one I have used and a major rose garden over here uses the same....... did it work for me....well in the beginning I thought I failed my task, but gave it a bit longer and now have two new babies....

Thanks Neptune. I am looking at trying to have a go at grafting. I decided to have a go at trying to strike some rootstock cuttings from a sucker on one of my plants in the hope that maybe I could try and replace some of my older plants that are starting to look at bit rough.
Cheers,
Louise.
