Hello from Highfields and no I did not die! Just busy.

Post by Bonita18 on 30th August 2015, 22:34

This year my 300 roses received a good prune excepting for the teas and weaker plants. They were fed Epsom Salts and Neutrog's Seamungus in July. I watered by hand at that time and sprayed twice Lime Sulphur followed by Copper Oxychrolide. This week we had 34mms of rain which has helped to water in the fertiliser, which was Sudden Impact. Sugar cane mulch is in place. I just can't wait to see the reward for all this effort.
I have planted the following roses since I last visited the forum.
Two singles which are relatives if Dainty Bess. They are Ellen Willmott and Bonny Jean.
I have in pots - Ice Girl, Rose of Wagga Wagga, Bright as a button. I also acquired two throwouts at Masters called Love is which is the same as Love.
Mrs Graham Hart which is an historic climber sits beside Fisher Hokmes.
