Anyway,  WELCOME ZEP!!!  You are about to find out this is a mad forum!!!  I have just bought some Gyp. seeds called Snowflake Baby's Breath - aka Gypsophilia paniculata cv.  Is this the tiny one?  Hope so.  Want it for arrangements!

Hi Sue, lovely to meet you, and thank you for your welcome. Wave

Yep, the Snowflake is also a gypsophila variety florists use. Sending the garden fairies to bless and care for your seedlings! Million Star has taken over somewhat from Snowflake in commercial floristry because it's easier to work with - more robust stems for oasis arrangements; it's also more compact and less tangly than the Snowflake - but Snowflake is still a good staple and looks beautiful in large bouquets, wee posies and vase arrangements alike. Wishing you joy and luck! Happy Dance

Hi David. *salutes*
Glad there are people out there like you to manage blogs and such and generally keep things in order.
And I'm glad there are the hippies like me to remind the strait-lacers to chill out every now and then.... Wink

Zeppy, you are going to have your hands full with that strait - lacer.... scratch

I might change this to my avatar, it would suit my straight up and down persona IMO.

It had me worried there for a while.....not sure about a worker, even though there are claims that he goes to work to squash his grapes for his wine........ a singer, not unless he is in the barn by himself....now a 'good' Lady beetle.....hmmmm.......I can see that as a late life change..... Wink

Oh John, I forgot to say - I went to Tesselaar's and they'd never heard of Million Star, but suggested that you have a look on eBay for seeds! Might be an idea.

PM sent.
