What does BL stand for?

Post by muscovyduckling on 7th June 2014, 11:57

Just wondering, on the Misty Downs website some roses have BL in brackets after their name. What does it mean?

I "think" it is to do with the class of the rose.  What section were you in Zoe? scratch

Their printed catalogue (arrived the other day. Very Happy ) says that (BL) "Denotes our collection of roses from Bishops Lodge at Hay NSW"

Do go there if you are ever in Hay. It is a wonderful old house with a beautiful rose garden. They also have a great collection of Alister Clarke roses. Bishop's Lodge has a page on Facebook.
