Hit 43.0 at 1:30 EST has now cooled off to a comfortable 42.5.

i am not sure what we will do if our bore dries up..we rely on it 100% for the garden as our dams are empty.. we are currently 34 C but with low humidity at 18%.. blazing sun, which is good for the solar panels and not much else at the moment

i don't have the energy to deal with the regulatory authorities on getting the bore deepened!.. especially as deeper won't help here but a 2nd bore elsewhere on the property might

Our bore does not have a lot of water in it.

I have set up a pump to pump water out of our dam (very depleted at the moment) and into the bore so the bore pump can keep up the supply.

Dam goes down about an inch or two an hour while doing it but I can use 8 sprinklers and the water still flows out the top of the bore.

Ended up being 43.9 degrees at 4PM. Cooled down to 32 now.

I really hope you get a cool change soon. That's just too hot for man or beast or plants! Those of you up north must be tough because I don't think I could cope with that heat. All the best and try to stay cool if you can.
