So.... I gather that R. laxa might not be the rootstock for me on acidic granite soils...?

Laxa is a very tough rootstock, its in the canina family. They use it in Belgium because it can tolerate wetter soils

So... it would be suitable for me if I wanted to extend my rose garden into the heavier soils in our lower garden area.... Wink
