RSL rose

Post by Bonita18 on 1st July 2013, 22:13

Is anyone growing this rose? I saw it at the Melbourne Flower Show but I think it might have been around for a while.

We got the RSL rose about 3months ago, have it in a pot, seems to be a slow grower, having said that, the blooms we've had have been great and fairly long lasting.

Thanks PaulH
It might have been better to be released for the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli in 2015 to attract more interest. I think the colours of sunrise and sunset are well depicted in its colouring. I can't upload the picture I took at Melbourne Flower Show in March. Don't know what is wrong tonight as I have seen successful on quite a few other occasions. Just says it cannot connect to the internet.

Is the RSL rose an Australian bred rose?
