Bonita , loved your photo , so thought i would start a new thread in case anyone else is interested in these roses . I have been tossing up whether to try Deane Ross for two years now , i planted Lady Phelia , but i planted it badly , in a hurry and it died . How are yours, are they fragrant , healthy etc , Ross Roses give them a good write up , Blue for you looks lovely too , can you put up more pics , thanks

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Climbing Madam Berard and old tea rose 1875 I think

Same rose but picked blooms

Madam Jules Thibaud - the pink version of Perle DÓr the china rose.

Another basket picture - I love 65 roses the open almost single rose but Lady Phelia makes a lovely arching bush. My Deanne Ross is also bushy but not as arching

Garden of St Erth is a constant flowerer and looks wonderful in the garden. No one seems to be able to identify it except to say it is a multiflora type rose

Just beautiful Bonita. And that Garden of St Erth is a knockout. I love that sense of wild abandon and exuberance it suggests.

Medium scent for both of these rose but then I am not a good sniffer!
Yes good health for both - only spray here about twice a year with Saprol but I do used Blood and Bone in liquid form and Sea Tea or Seasol. Sometimes I use Condys' crystals but in my mild temperate climate here in Toowoomba I would see more black spot than you do but probably less powdery mildew. I have never ever seen rust. Cotton beetles are another matter. Like Gary I don't do palms of other much adored tropical plants.
