Thanks for the update Betsy. Had to laugh mixing up cm and inches. Gee if you were one of my students I'd have something to say. Lol.
Sounds like it's happy growing at your place. That even symmetrical growth and pleasing overall shape makes all the difference when roses are in pots, I think, and look as though they belong there, rather than an escapee from the garden. This is what I want from a rose in a pot (apart from the blooms of course). I haven't seen Daybreaker anywhere yet.
Please keep me updated as the season unfolds.
