Post by jordan71 on 15th October 2012, 18:39

unfortunatley the nursey where i bought this rose stuffed it up .. the rose was sold to me as mary rose .. its clearly not . .was bought as bareroot this year.. this rose looks to me to be dr huey but not 100% sure

and yes the plant is growing above the graft .. if anyone might wanna have a guess.. that would be fantastic

got an answer for this rose from the austin uk, confirming its not an austin rose and they are not 100% sure but they believe it to be josephine bruce (hybrid tea) i dont think it is but hey .. will just have to stay here as an unamed rose

i allready have david, looks similar .. the reason i dont think it is cause to me this rose that i have here it shows to be a floribunda not a hybrid tea
and josephine is meant to be high scented and this one here has no scent whatsoever

Not saying it is JB, but a HT can have side buds on it that look like a Flori. A Flori "normally" have more than 3 flowers to the head
