Just thought I had to share this pic, taken today, of our Bridal Pink. It seems to have exploded in merely one day. sunny

What a marvelous result for a potted rose, and not a very big pot either by the looks of it. I must say, my potted HTs are doing very well, but they are nowhere near as floriferous as your BP. How old is it and how is the fragrance?
And is that a fire blanked in the background, for visitors who get so hot that they instantaneously combust on seeing BP?

Just the loveliest bush! What a great centrepiece the whole pot would make for an outdoor party.

Oh yes, I made it thru customs Smile They were really nice to me today, didn't go thru my bags or anything surprisingly enough *lol*

The BP is about 1 1/2 year old and to be honest, I'm quite surprised over the flush of flowers myself Very Happy Its got a slight fragrance and with the abundance of flowers it comes through fairly well just standing there.

Its always good to see pictures of beautiful healthy roses, and thanks for the extra info., Rose-Anne. Iíve only just discovered how beautiful pink HTs can be with Eiffel Tower and Tiffany in bloom and definitely could develop a taste for them. I was a bit worried with them being in pots, especially since theyíre both indicated to grow larger than average, but it looks like theyíll be fine where they are for at least another year.

John gives the pots some extra TLC and keeps them looking fab and healthy Very Happy When growing roses in pots you need to consider the size of the bush before you choose what to put in a pot. The smaller ones do heaps better then the big ones since they got room for their "feet".

We have a few HT in pots as well and they do very good too. Even HT's that didn't do all that good in the garden do a lot better in their pots.

Iíve heard that some roses that didnít do well in the garden do a lot better in pots before, interesting. The roses I keep in pots are mainly spare of the moment purchases and therefore have no designated area. Keeping them in pots gives me an opportunity to see their colour and to shift them around to find their best fit, but I make an effort to put them into the ground as soon as I notice they want to grow tall.

As far as I know there is only one variety of Bridal Pink and its this pink floribunda... but, I might be wrong, perhaps someone else has some more information about that?
