Thanks Ozeboy, Iíve copied your whole post into my Ďlist for next yearí doc., and will give your suggestions the time they deserve when the time comes.
Iíve never really considered where a rose was bread in my selection before, just fragrance and colour. But it makes perfect sense that Aussie bread roses should excel here, and not only here, but also everywhere.

Where did the orange yellow come from, Warren, with all that red parentage?

Jac its probably a through back from the pernetiana's on Rothschilds side from Peace, Peace offspring give you a lot of white/ yellow petal reverse colours.

Thanks Warren, Iím very sorry my Baronne was mislabeled, but come to think of it, the rose I got instead shows similar orange yellow colours Ö

Its the shape of the flower which I am a bit iffy on . The colour is like watercolour painting were the colours bleed into each other. In full sunlight these colour are almost fluorescent.

Warren, very nice, might see it on the show bench in Belgum.

Warren would you please answer a question for me and that is where are all your roses? I have never seen one other than in pictures on RTA
Other Australian breeders release their roses to exhibitors as a means of getting feed back and exposure. You no doubt have some strategy in mind or just want to stick it to the rose nurseries importing from overseas. Just curious.

Bruce I gave budwood to some one years ago who exhibits , I think they died. I lost heart and never did it again. Most of the roses going to Europe will be shrub types Bruce. There are around five Gemini crosses with this form and colours ranging from Light Pink blends, Apricots , Red Yellow blends and Reds.

Bruce, I have 220 at home here and around 750, 15km out of town, very few people have seen the complete collection, Laurie Newman has seen it grow over the years , as he comes up every November.

Thanks Carole , its still a baby maybe the naming will be next year I hope.

Warren remember the visit organised by the Rose soc of NSW and unfortunatly cancelled?
I was to be one of the members of the group.
Perhaps there will be another trip organised in the future.

Bad luck finding the wrong person to exhibit your rose. I think that person is one in 500 as others seem to get a few newies on display.
Anyway it's a personal thing for you but I would go special to a show to see some in the Aus bred classes.

This is one of the Gemini X Unk Dk Red HT, seems to be getting better as the plant gets larger, also has a mild perfume.
