I bought some hybrid Tea rose seeds from ebay.I was told to do the following in spring september.I'm based in Melb.Is this correct.

It is a simple process to germinate the seed, firstly soak the seed and place them in a moist paper towel, this is then folded over, place in a plastic bag and then into the refrigerator for cold treatment.

After one month check the seed and remove any that have start to germinate and sow them in soil.
