Roses "new" to WA

Post by Rose-Anna on 23rd March 2012, 18:12

We got to see a few new varieties of roses that are going to be, or recently have been, released in WA. I'm wondering if anyone in any of the other states already know of them and how they are doing / growing etc.

The roses I am referring to are:
- Summer of Love
- Firestar
- Lest We Forget

Anna, I have just looked up the 3 roses on HMF and found nothing about Australia, it might need updating. Who is selling them over in WA ?

I dont know if they are released anywhere yet, they were presented to us by one of the owners of The Swiss Rose Garden during a meeting where new and coming varieties were covered.

I think she said "Lest We Forget" was supposed to be released around Anzac day, but regarding the rest it was very general, just sometime soon *lol*

Check out some of these.
Our local garden center in Collie stocks this chaps bushes and generally they are of very good quality.

Rosalie, fantastic nursery. I just had a look at couple of thier "roses for a cause", love "Go For Gold", might be a good one for John for exhibition.
