Carole, what mini's do you have for breeding. I'm hopeful all the ones I listed and next years as well will make hips.

I haven't a list of my crosses as they are in the fridge with labels attached. I uses Brindabella Bouquet quite a lot as a seed parent.
Also Carefree Beauty and Carefree Wonder, Devonensis, Marie Van Houtte, Altissimo, Roundelay, Stainless Steel, Gemini, Claret Cup come to mind but this only represents probably half. My two rosa Gigantea are starting to grow really well though they have to be moved so that will set them back a little.

Mini's are quite new to me from the breeding point of view and I notice some are Triploiod but most are Tetraploid. I could be wrong there re percentages of each as applied to my list. There has been a lot on the ARHA that I will swat up on. I'm still a fan of Henry Kuska, his methods and genetical knowledge. There are a few breeders that if you asked them do they walk on water they would definately reply "Of Course I do"

The number of roses bred By Kordes is quite amazing, pity they have not supplied prdigrees of some of their latest.

Bruce, none of my mini's are named. Maybe they have names but I dont know them. I was never going to breed with them, just use them for a pretty edging.
I dont know how many of their roses we wii be able to get here but Harkness have some fantastic new roses.

No I haven't shown any crosses just some of the roses used that came to mind. As mentioned they are all packeged up in the fridge with labels. Without tearing the packaging apart I think I put Roundelay on Carefree Wonder.

I guess "fate" has come over from the other thread. At present it is going to be 'Buccaneer' for my yellow as primary use, with 'gold medal' most probally second.
