This is the seedling I have named after my wife :)

This what it looks like in summer.

Well... I have named it 'Alicia V' tentatively. It keeps changing its mind about how it wants to grow. Last year it was a mouded shrub. The year before that it looked like a ground cover. This year it has me thinking it might climb!!!!

The flower in the spring is apricot:

I have the paperwork all done and ready to go to register this seedling but I keep holding off on it as I wait for it to settle on way to grow Rolling Eyes

Beautiful rose, truly romantic, Simon. Speaking from experience, it's a real turn-on, wink, wink Roses And such a feminine rose too: can't make up it's mind (runs for cover)

I'm thinking it will be something like 'Alicia chérie'... don't know yet...

Well, Rosalie, if the cross I made with 'Carabella' works out for me this season, inspired by your beautiful 'Little Girls Rose', I will call it 'Sand Grouper Rosalie'... how's that Wink

I've spoken to Alicia on the phone and the rose fits her voice, very soft and feminine. What a wonderful rose.

Congrulations, Simon ! A very nice rose. Have you got a garden shot of the rose, or showing the whole bush ?
