Well it is the 1st. of October, boy this year has flown, all the roses are bug free ATM and the growth is amazing, as I say every year it is going to be a great year for the roses but on a serious note they are looking a lot healthier this year. Might be the yummy dressing I gave them all early last month. I ended up spraying and eradicating the aphids and I am watching them like a hawk, on a matter of 6 weeks to the Victorian Rose Soc. show and I am hoping for a few winning blooms, in the novice section of course

for my potted roses I use a bag of potting mix, ice cream container of manure, blood and bone, sudden impact and mix it all up and top dress the pots, also I use a wetting agent as well. Shhh dont tell anyone.

Great start TheE... I was wondering TheE... how do you reckon a flower showing forum would go here??? To cover information about shows, how to get the best out of your exhibit, growing for exhibition etc??? I know nothing about it and it really isn't my thing, but I know a lot of people get a lot of enjoyment out of it... and I always love seeing your entries

OMG warning warning Will Robertson I found thrips in me roses tonits after work , stuffed the organics and thingos big guns coming out me garage afters work so stay tuned, WARNING, go check your roses

OMG, thanks for the warning Thee!! I'll be out checking mine in the morning. Isn't it a bit early/cool for thrips? Hope I've got some ammunition for them in the shed....................
