Re: Thee's Garden Blog
Yeah.. it's ok
Red Pierre is really lovely TheE BUT!!!! It pails in comparison to the mighty berg! If only all roses were as useful in the garden as iceberg is! I have four different bergs now... Climbing berg, Blushing Pink berg, Burgundy berg, and the original white berg. As these are all sports of the original berg one might expect them to behave very similar but I have to say I am disappointed with burgundy berg. It even defoliated this year.. while the others are clean as a whislte. Climbing berg is even virused and it still is flawless and vigorous. If anyone wants a Burgundy Berg this winter shoot me a PM.

Estate you photos are terrific! I agree you Iceberg is beautiful!
Can you smell it? I have not grow the bush in years but do have the climber. I think ti smells devine but so many people say it has no scent.

Re: Thee's Garden Blog
Great photos Thee. Iceberg sure looks good as Tasv said. What is the red and white rose at the top in the second listing ?
My Burgundy and Blushing Pink short weeping standards haven't had alot of lush growth eigther and not that a great display in blooms. I did have a Blushing Pink Iceberg bush once and it was a mas of blooms. Reckon I will move these short weepers out the back a bit and unclutter inbetween my bigger weepers.

The redish/pink one is Henry Matisse (cant spell) Yes not that happy with the newer bergs, but with persist on as they are only a few years old, where the white one is over 10 years old !
P.S. will include names in the future if I know them
