Welcome Jim, I know your name but can't just remember what you are famous for, probably roses. If It's roses or rose breeding would really like to see some of your treasures. Come to think of it you could be a high profile garden host or TV garden presenter. Time will tell all.

Hi Jim, Good to see you here! I'll take a photo of your K206 jet-setter latter on.. it's got it's first leaves!!!

For those of you who don't know, the forum on Rose Talk called 'Field of Dreams' is a phrase coined by Jim to describe the way one feels about the seedlings we raise that we get to plant out in the ground for testing... they've passed all our initial tests and are ready for their final few tests for garden worthiness. We walk through them imagining the joy they will bring many other people if they can just clear this final hurdle. That forum is dedicated to, and inspired by, Jim. Many of you might already have one of Jim's roses in 'Honey Dijon'. All reports I have had of it here in Australia so far are that it does very well here. In the years to come I hope we will see more of his roses. Especially his hulthemia roses. Jim is one of the most kind-hearted gentlemen I have had the pleasure of meeting and joins the ranks of Louis Lens, Ralph Moore, Paul Barden, Robert Rippetoe, Kim Rupert, and David Zlesak as people who have most inspired me. You can see some of Jim's work here on his blog: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I hope you enjoy your time here, Jim.
