Repairs to my hot house.

Post by rosemeadow on 8th October 2011, 10:10

I was very proud of myself the other day as I finally repaired my hot house. The middle plastic had been gradually tearing and flapping about so that almost all the middle of the hot house was now exposed inside.
The ground was finally wet enough on the dry side to re dig part of the trench along the side of the hot house. I was able to drag the tough hot house plastic over my high hot house with a rope I tied to the plastic. Then I filled the dirt back in over the plastic in each trench so it was pretty tight. I did the job on my own and it didn't take too long. It looks good outside and inside.
I know I will always be able to keep a hot house covered now.
