Something new... lavender seedlings begin to flower
2 Years ago I had 'Avonview' and 'Evelyn Cadzow' lavenders growing in a garden bed and then I noticed seedlings coming up around them. I pulled out the original lavenders and let the seedlings grow through... There's about 20 different ones and they've starte flowering and I'm really happy with them so far...
One with dark purple flowers and light mauve bracts:

The darkest one:

And one between the two... this is the 2nd best plant too.. so far it's low, compact, and floriferous....

This one is the best plant but has funny stumpy flowers.. lots of them though.. is kinda cool. Pretty uniform mid-purple.
