Found it! Happy Dance
It is still being propagated by John Nieuwesteeg and I picked it up today at Newstead Roses in Monbulk.

Thanks. Smile

Of course, I had no real idea what this rose looked like (HMF description notwithstanding)... I only chose it because one of my dogs is a Brighid....

Hi,
that's a very good reason to buy the rose. I thoroughly approve. Nice dogs.

Thanks, Barbara. Smile

It would be nice to have a 'Gemma' rose too. I planted a 'Duchesse de Brabant' on my sheltie's grave but I think it may grow too big... (Mistydowns website said 90cm...)
I guess Gemma was a large Sheltie Wink

Wendy, what a great looking pair, Gemma is very photogenic. What is her breeding, is there any 'german coollie' in her. I ask as I noticed the 2 different eye colours

That one is Brighid, David. Smile And no Coolie/Koolie - just working Border Collie lines. The 2 eye colours is not uncommon. Her grandmother was like that.

Sorry Wendy, don't have that one but have 'Lady Sylvia' or Sylvia which reads and looks the same.

Wendy is this photo the same as the first couple. The first 2, are they "St Brigids Rose".
This second photo posted later looks different to the first 2.
IMO, the single shot is not 'Sylvia or Lady Sylvia'

This photo is of 'St Brigid's Rose', David. We've had a few days of warmer weather and this blooms is a lot paler than the earlier ones (which came out just after I brought it back from down south).
