Debbie

Post by The Lazy Rosarian on 27th February 2011, 08:04

Yes, we have another new member named Debbie, a Taswegin, around the corner from Simon(as it is only a small piece of dirt). I do hope that Debbie will post.

We'd like to encourage all our new, or non-participing members to contribute as well so we can all learn from each other.

Regards roseman(David).

Hi Debbie,
A very warm welcome from me. I do hope you enjoy yourself here. Are you close to where Simon is?
I am really looking forward to hearing what sort of garden you have or hope to have.

Turns out I have actually met Debbie before, many, many years ago in NSW. Debbie is a rabbit breeder and judge and we met through rabbits nearly ten years ago. Australia is in the process of splitting from the British Rabbit Council and forming our own Australian show standards and clubs.. Debbie is the Tasmanian 'arm' of the process and by chance is an upcoming rose addict with country acres to fill with roses. It's great to have the chance to speak with her again about bunnies as well as roses Smile

They love Multiflora, some of my understocks look like they have the black plague and I can't find a clear spot to put a bud on.

They are great little guys, I won't use poison like a lot of people and councils do.
