Pays to test seedlings for longer ;)

One of my 'Papageno' seedlings has flowered again. It's a few years old now and growing in the garden and it grew quite cleanly for a time but is now looking decidedly spotty:

Black spot resistance can break down over time and without proper thorough testing you might think a seedling you have is pretty clean only to have it defoliated the next year. I have this one targetted as a breeder for striped wichurana seedlings. Not sure I will use it now Wink
