Roses in the dark

Post by orchid40 on 29th January 2009, 11:54 am

I went out just before the light disappeared the night before the heat really hit. I rather like the effect of flash, what do you think?

Isn't it fun to experiment with the camera! Your photos are beautiful Orchid.
I have been thinking of trying to photograph them after sundown using no flash but making a time exposure. Have you tried that?

Thanks:)

No, Dee, I'm not that camera savvy. I took most of these with a double take - one with flash and one natural light. I deleted the ones I didn't want.

Very cool Val. You can experiment even more with the flash. For instance, try taking a plain white tissue with you and draping it over the flash next time and see how it softens the flash a little. Once you start getting into flash photography you can start getting REALLY flash LOL Laughing
